what's in the name?

we named our son Markus Ezekiel and his nickname is Vierte

Markus - I like the name, also my team lead when I went to Germany for World Youth Day was named "markus". It's masculine.

Ezekiel - My husband wanted something biblical and it means "God will strengthen"

now his nickname has a longer story - Vierte
his dad's name has III and my inlaws specially the lolo wanted na maging IV when he learned that we we're having a boy. I strongly disagreed to have my baby's name after his dad and buti nalang my husband didn't also want our son to be carrying his name so we both agreed to instead give our son a nickname na "fourth" but we wanted na ibang language but we also considered giving him "quatro" as the nickname. and so I asked around PMN for other dialects/language that would mean fourth and got "Vierte" from the Deutsch language.
